about easton 100

Year 2021 marks the 100thbirth anniversary of Roger Lee Easton, Scientist known as the principal inventor and designer of Global Positioning System (GPS) along with Ivan A. Getting and Bradford Parkinson. He was awarded the National (USA) Medal of Technology for his “Extensive pioneering achievements in spacecraft tracking, navigation and trimming technology that led to the development of the NAVSTAR – Global Positioning System (GPS)” in 2006.

As the world celebrates Easton’s first birth centenary, we pay homage to this great Scientist by hosting “Easton 100” – 5th International Conference on Computing Sciences. The conference aims to bring together researchers, scientists, industry personnel, research scholars and students pan India and from across the globe.
